The deadline for drawing and submitting draft maps passed on January 31, 2022.

Redistricting is different than most issues that come before the City Council. Instead of being limited to saying you support or oppose a City-prepared ordinance or resolution, you can draw a map yourself!

The following tools are currently available to assist the public in drawing maps and providing feedback on Communities of Interest. You may choose to use a printout or online map tool. Informative reference maps are also available. Get involved in the process by using the tools listed below:

Submit a Community of Interest

Feedback on Communities of Interest may be submitted up until noon on the day of each Public Hearing and will be handled as Public Comment.

Draw a Map

January 31, 2022, at 5 p.m. – Due date for draft maps to be submitted for consideration at the Third Public Hearing.

DistrictR
  • Simple online tool that allows you to “paint” your neighborhood, community of interest, or a district map (No account or login is required to access)

  • Follow the DistrictR User Guide for instructions on how to draw and save your map

  • Once you have drawn your map, click the “Share” button for your map to be saved to the public gallery

How to Submit Maps

Submitting COI, Paper, and Excel Maps:

You can submit your map electronically, by mail, or in person.

Submit by Mail or Drop Off in Person:​

Submitting DistrictR Map:

If you drew a map using DistrictR, please click the “Share” button after drawing your map for it to be saved to the public gallery. You do not need to email or drop off your DistrictR map for it to be received.
